Which Size Is Right For Me?
Wearing the wrong size safety glove can not only compromises your comfort but your safety too.
Thankfully, finding the right size for you could not be easier. Simply measure the circumference of your palm (ignoring the thumb area) and the length of your hand as indicated in the image below.

Once you have your measurements, please consult the sizing chart below to find the correct size for your hand.
Size | Circumference of Palm (mm) | Length of Palm (mm) |
Size 7 | 178mm | 171mm |
Size 8 | 203mm | 182mm |
Size 9 | 229mm | 192mm |
Size 10 | 254mm | 204mm |
How Do These Gloves Protect My Hands?
AceTherm Gloves combine mechanical and contact cold resistance to protect your hands in cold weather environments where lifting and moving stock and equipment is commonplace. Their mechanical resistance is bolstered by a latex coating that is particularly resistant to tearing. This latex layer also enhances grip strength in dry conditions to minimise the risk of drops and loss of grip. They are also abrasion, cut and puncture resistant to varying degrees.
They have a brushed terry cloth lining to further protect against cold and liquid should this lining be penetrated. Their Level 1 contact cold resistance allows you to work outdoors with cold material without worrying about a loss of heat.

Performance Ratings
Safety gloves must pass a series of tests in order to be sold as such in Europe. These tests asses everything from heat resistance, cold weather, mechanical injury and chemical resistance.
Please view the information and tabled results below to get an idea of how Ultimate Industrial AceTherm Gloves performed when tested:
EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves performance when used whilst working in and around mechanical machinery.
Standard | Resistance Level |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 2 |
Cut Resistance | Level 1 |
Tear Resistance | Level 4 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 1 |
ISO Cut Resistance | Level B |
EN 511
EN 511 governs the sale of gloves that provide cold weather protection. There are a range of tests involved, as detailed in the table below:
Standard | Resistance Level |
Convective Cold Resistance | Level 0 |
Contact Cold Resistance | Level 1 |
Water Permeability | N/A |
Who Should Be Using AceTherm Premium Thermal Gloves?
Anyone working outside during winter needs to be using safety wear that keeps them warm without compromising safety. Due to their high abrasion resistance, AceTherm Premium Gloves have a wide scope for use.
Below, we have put together a list of a few suitable environments and professions for AceTherm Thermal Gloves:
Innovative Sanitation Treatment
Bacteria and viruses are an often overlooked threat in the workplace, especially during winter. The patented Sanitized fabric treatment system helps to reduce the growth and spread of microorganisms that are particularly problematic, such as clostridia and other antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This is particularly beneficial to work gloves because of the build up sweat and the risk of cross contamination from hand to face throughout the day.
Ultimate Industrial have partnered with Sanitized to reduce this risk and manufacture gloves that not only provide all the protection you'd expect, but that keep your hands hygienic and odour free too.
Why Is Latex Used As a Coating?
Latex is an incredibly durable, cost-efficient coating. Because of its widespread use and subsequently inexpensive nature, gloves manufactured with it are inexpensive whilst remaining high quality.
Latex coated gloves tend to have a higher puncture and tear resistance than their nitrile counterparts. Latex also enhances grip strength (especially in dry conditions), which makes latex coated gloves ideal for handling potentially dangerous or valuable material.
