Suitable Applications and Professions
It is unusual for a glove to offer such a diverse level of protection. Cold, heat and hazard protection coupled with high visibility strips and a latex coating make KOOLgrip Gloves suitable for a wide range of professions and environments.
Please view the list below for a few examples:
250°C Contact Heat Protection
KOOLgrip II Gloves are contact heat resistant up to 250°C, allowing material at that temperature to be handled for up to fifteen seconds. This makes them the ideal choice for welders, blacksmiths and manufacturers who are regularly transferring heated material from one area to another.
Hi-Visibility Properties
Staying visible is an often under-looked aspect of workplace safety. Working in a busy environment where there are a number of highly dangerous moving parts is dangerous. Wearing a pair of hi-vis gloves compliments a high visibility jacket and trousers ensures you're always safe and seen as you move about on site.
What Are the Benefits of a Latex Coating?
Latex is an incredibly durable, cost-efficient coating. Because of its widespread use and inexpensive nature, gloves manufactured with it tend to be high quality without breaking the bank.
Latex coated gloves tend to have a higher puncture and tear resistance than their nitrile counterparts. Latex also enhances grip strength (especially in dry conditions), which makes latex coated gloves ideal for handling potentially dangerous or valuable material.
