Category III Risks

Category III risks are complex hazards which can be severe or life-threatening, or those which can cause irreversible injuries. This includes hazards such as touch-voltage shocks.

In the case of the ActivArmr Class 0 Gloves, the design helps to protect against life-threatening or irreversible injury caused by contact with voltages up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC.

Please note: These gloves will not provide protection from electrical shocks if they are damaged in any way.

Alternative Gloves

These gloves are also available in a black design. The ActivArmr Class 0 Low-Voltage Electrical Gloves (Black) function in a similar way to the yellow variant, with the exception that the yellow variant is designed using a more eco-conscious dipping process. The black variant of these gloves has been case-hardened, giving them a slightly tougher glove surface.
