Not only can the Tegera 494 gloves protect against a selection of chemicals (including certain acids like sodium hydroxide), they also offer heat, cold and good all round mechanical resistance. Made from resilient neoprene, they can withstand contact heat up to 500°C as well as small splashes of molten metals. On the opposite side of the spectrum, they are also suitable for cold environments as they are waterproof and feature a warming thermal liner.
