What Do These Ratings Actually Mean?
Traffiglove TG5580 Gloves performed brilliantly when tested against heat and flame hazards. They are able to withstand heat up to 100 degrees and have a cooling down time of under five seconds once ignited.They are also highly resistant to small splashes of molten metal and are capable of withstanding up to 35 small drops of heated metal discharge.
They have a Level D cut resistance rating, meaning they are very cut resistant. This tests involves a single sharp blade hitting the fabric until it perforates it. This test found that TG5580 Gloves can withstand up to 15 newtons of continuous downward force applied by a sharp blade before breaking.

What Are The Gloves Made From?
Traffiglove TG5580 Gloves are made of high-quality embossed cow grain leather. Due to its higher price, grain leather is only used in the manufacturing of premium gloves.
The cuff is made from a suede split for a nice contrast both aesthetically and when touching the gloves. The Level D cut resistant liner is made from a Kevlar para-aramid cotton free fabric for incredible resistance to incisions and gashes.
