EN 388

What is Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome?
Hand arm vibration syndrome, or HAVS, is a debilitating and irreversible condition caused by prolonged exposure to vibrating machinery and tools. The result is a loss of sensation, feeling and sensitivity in the fingers due to overexposure to vibrations. It can result in tremors, shaking and even complete loss of sensation.
How Do UCi VBX Gloves Work to Prevent HAVS?
Thankfully, HAVS is completely avoidable. UCi VBX gloves use a bulky, padded face to absorb high frequency vibrations and kill vibrations in the hand. This stops the harmful effects being transferred from the tool/machine into the hand and up the arm.
Are VBX Gloves Comfortable to Wear?
Whilst being bulky and high gauge, VBX gloves remain incredibly comfortable. They are made with a knitted wrist and the glove face itself provides ample room for flexing and tightening your grip/hand. Each finger hole has plenty of room and the fabric itself is breathable and odour release friendly.
Latex Foam Coating Benefits
Latex foam is a bulky coating perfect for impact and vibration reduction. It aids and enhances grip strength and stability whilst provides way above average protection against the harmful effects of vibrating machinery. UCi VBX Gloves are coated at the palm for optimum vibration absorption.
